Well lets see, this is my first blog... so please be patient with me :)
Today is Friday before the 4 day weekend that will ring in the new year. It has been a great year overall - there have been the bad days, but they were greatly out numbered by the good :) January brought tears of happiness for what was even if only for a few days and sadness for what was lost. February brought renewed hope and acceptance :) and strength in the love of a family I never thought I deserve or would have. March was a quiet month. April was too. May brought Dad home for good and Ashley's transition to middle school. June brought a new job with better pay and a too short visit from my niece and nephew - SO MUCH FUN!! July saw fireworks in Tempe. August brought a trip to Pennsylvania for a reunion with those that we don't see nearly enough and Tony's first trip east past Chicago. The girls got to establish friendships with cousins they never get to see. There was Niagara Falls, New York, and Toronto too :) September ushered in the new school year. October brought a surprise trip to the Grand Canyon to celebrate a year of love, happiness and lifetime with the man I always dreamed of, but never held out hope for. A room on the rim, a dinner for two and a lifetime of memories :) November brought family together at Laura's, showed me why wine is not for me and taught me just how much I love my girls and why it would kill me if they were ever not there. Lessons were learned on honesty, love, understanding, consequences and forgiveness. Old chapters were closed in the story of Audionut and new books were just getting started.. December brought Audionut a new store front, rotated between rain, heat, and cold, bikes were given, happiness was shown, love was shared. Today we go forward into the new year with a determination to make 2008 better then 2007 could ever have been, with all the new memories, joy, sorrows and everyday happenstance that make each day, week, year and month in it one to cherish and remember always.
Pics of 2007 to follow shortly :)
